For sale is a Somic Wraparound Packer (without lid), which can preferably pack flow-wrap products or thermoformed packs in a wraparound carton by means of two fan conveyors (i.e. two different format sizes and interchangeable format parts). The flat blank is inserted into a magazine and placed on the vacuum belt by means of two suction arms. It is then driven from station 1 to station 2 by means of a servo motor. Hot melt traces are applied between stations 1 and 2, which are glued to the servo-driven folding stamp and the folding die (which are adjustable) after the products have been retracted from the portal. The filled carton then leaves the Somic at the next work cycle and can be taken over at the outlet. The system also has a levelling belt that can be used to distribute the contents of flowpacks.
